Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your lodge, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch boxes packed for the day. Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds and striking landscapes that range from golden savannahs to seasonal swamps, all nourished by the Tarangire River. During your game drive, keep an eye out for lions stalking their prey, graceful giraffes, and leopards lounging in the treetops. After a full day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Ngorongoro Crater - Full Day

After breakfast, set out for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Often called “Africa’s Eden,” this is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and home to some 30,000 animals. In just a few hours, it is possible to see the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino—along with cheetahs, hyenas, and large flocks of flamingos along the soda lakes. The dramatic scenery, encircled by steep crater walls, creates one of the most unique safari settings on the planet.

Day 3 - Lake Manyara National Park & transfer to Arusha for departure

On your final day, you’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a diverse sanctuary stretching from the Rift Valley escarpment to the shimmering alkaline lake below. The park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and the rich variety of birdlife that flocks to its shores, including pelicans, storks, and flamingos. As you explore the lush forests and open grasslands, you’ll enjoy a last glimpse of Tanzania’s incredible wildlife before returning to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, marking the end of your safari.
